For the most part, I have lived in Ipswich since my late teens which is a long time ago. In the mid 1970’s my family moved from Carina in Brisbane to the affordable suburb of Redbank Plains purchasing a house and land package on 1200sqm for $23,000.
I have always loved real estate and like so many, for me Saturday mornings meant making a cuppa and browsing through the QT Property Guide and looking at all the homes for sale.
It seemed a natural progression to sales agent considering my love of all things property. Many years have passed since I sold my first home, but I still enjoy helping sellers with the sale and handing over the keys to the new owner on settlement day.
I have met some wonderful people along the way, some becoming friends and I am also thrilled when a buyer or seller I have assisted in the past calls me to sell their home.
How we buy, sell and market property is light years away from flicking through the newspaper. Gone are the days of one photo in the paper or an agent’s window. Professional photos, videos overhead drone images, databases are just some of the tools at our disposal. Connecting with buyers locally and globally is all possible.
The changing face of real estate has also seen many agencies across the country, just as I do, embrace a fixed fee commission including advertising package. Great news for you and your hip pocket.
So, if you’re thinking of selling, give me a call, I’d love to hear from you.
